-Micromanagement is being practiced a lot and is considered as a positive approach by my manager and the company leadership!
-Overtime (non-paid) is a daily habit: Long hours, less work life balance, The excuse is "We are a startup!"
-Communication and feedback culture: Poor managerial communication skills. Manager Feedback is more of critics than a constructive feedback!
-Retention rate: Every week we have new staff joining the company and others leaving. Also, with so many working-students and interns hiring, I consider it as an unstable work environment.
-No/few documentations, no/very little processes, no HR department yet! A lot that needs to be setup and improved.
-Company business culture: With almost all key leaders being Germans (Founders and managers), the company culture is still living in a very limited and localized German business cocoon. Still not an international business environment/culture. => Experienced Employees in other international environments will spot this quickly!
-Leadership team claims to meet new hires in the first 2 weeks max! but they never did!
