The company wants you to make outbound calls to potential new business aka schools for machining tools, but you can make the sale do all the leg work and only make your hourly pay. What I noticed is that they are behind the curve on what bigger companies are doing, while trying to compete with fastenal, msc, mcmcaster, and grainger. So basically you are paid to be an order taker, but they want much more.
