Pros
Unlimited PTO. Like truly unlimited. I took like 6 full weeks off during my 9 months there. It was fantastic.
Autonomy- I felt trusted and supported to do whatever I wanted in terms of departmental innovation
No major 'fire drills'. I came from agency life so I was very impressed by the healthy relation to task and project deadlines and SLAs here.
Cons
Very little cross-departmental agreement on goals and processes. It often felt like people from different departments were actively working against eachother.
Poor ad tech investments such as Tier 2 DSPs and IVT tools lead to lots of headache in managing the day-to-day media operations.
Heavy hiring during Q2 2023, bad Q3+4 lead to MASS layoff Q1 2024. Be cautious of any of their "expanding growth".
Constantly restructuring their departments, lines of business, and goals.
