      Pros

      - Anyone not in upper mgmt was great to work with -Free masterclass on manipulation and gaslighting

      KOALA is one of those places where everything looks great on paper, yet the reality is very different. Nepotism and favoritism are rampant, with employees upper management considers valuable getting paid substantially more than others. Words and action do not align, they will smile and give false promise on the trajectory of the career you may expect to have here, but when time passes you will realise you have been breadcrumbed. Touting themselves as a "modern workplace", it is anything but, with only caucasian men holding positions of mnagement. Anyone who struggles to enforce boundaries- perfect! The CEO will pick up on that and glorify burnout culture, all for "sake of his employees" while taking vacations and buying new properties while you're struggling to pay rent. Oh and raises are non existant, so if you're ok with below market wages, apply.

      Hello there! We want to make sure that this review is for the right Koala!? We're a tech company with a platform that creates premium, customizable apps for restaurants to offer digital ordering. (koala.io) We don't have customer service representatives, and it would be impossible to have worked here for more than three years since we didn't make our first new hire until January 2021. There seem to be a lot of companies on LinkedIn with "Koala" in their name, so we understand how easy it would be to make this mistake! If you'd be so kind as to remove this review since it doesn't apply to us that would be great. The negative things written in this review do not reflect our team and culture, and we're sorry you had such a bad experience with your previous employer.
