Pros
I do love a lot about this company, but it feels like a kid who could do much better if they only saw their own potential. The work is rewarding, and it feels like you are making a difference. You have the opportunity to provide something useful to the company, as well as customers. The pay is reliable, and the company is stable.
Cons
Despite being an active company for more than 80 years, there is still a heavy start-up feel and mentality. In addition to the projects that are piloted through official channels, one might also find themselves working on projects that were provided implicitly. The pay, while stable isn't particularly competitive. In certain areas, staffing is very lean, causing many projects to be delayed or slowed simply due to lack of resources. This also pertains to technology resources. Often times creative, or non-standard solutions need to be created to achieve a task. This causes a lot of turnover, and confusion as to who is doing what...or what was started and left unfinished when an employee left.
