Promotions above Director can feel like a black hole

The firm has great benefits. 4 weeks vacation with two shutdown periods (Xmas-NY and July 4th week). The work/life depends on the project and management, but I had no problems taking time off.

You may have to travel, which is ok if you’re ok with it. Best and brightest / maybe, probably not.
