Pros

KVCAP is a non-profit and the work that we do is phenominal. I love knowing that that what we do directly affects our community in a positive way and that I get to be a part of that. They also have very good benefits to offer.

Cons

Poor management, lack of communication and the inability to pay a reasonable wage for the work that we do. The pay is mostly due to the fact that it is in fact a Non-Profit.

Pros

Dedicated and caring coworkers Nice benefits and paid trainings Amazing senior management

Cons

As it is a non-profit, the pay isn't amazing. I get above minimum wage, but cannot afford apartment prices in most of the state. ($1000 for a 1 bedroom is out of my range by at least $150)

Pros

Some of the most dedicated and caring employees you will ever have the privilege to work with.

Cons

I say work with as the company does everything in its power to keep every one separated from everyone else. Drivers are barely allowed to talk to dispatch or management. Intake has no direct contact to dispatch. And like that scene from "Office Space", the place is lousy with managers, assistant managers, local and regional managers, ect, ect. All under the umbrella of a "non-profit" that appears to be going bankrupt. Indigent and fixed income people have taken it in the neck for the hunt for the money to keep our multitude of supervisors and managers in a career, regardless of helping these same populations. If DEI is what you feel is important than we have it in spades. And if you love the new Boeing, you'll love KVCAP.
