Pros

Great opportunity for someone who is either new to the industry or wants a stable position as a code monkey. As a developer, you will learn about eCommerce development, basic seo strategies, etc. Entire team is dedicated to making every project a success. Company has proven to deliver sizable projects with very tight deadlines, with complex problems. Upper management utterly committed to the success of the company.

Cons

Constant constructive criticism not balanced with any positive reinforcements. Culture is entirely based on your ability to maximize revenue for the company through your work hours. As a developer, you will not learn any of the latest frameworks / methods. The system is built on a proprietary platform that utilizes their own tagging language. Upper management is stretched too thin with responsibilities and high expectations. Any guidance / directions given by Upper Management seems like a moving target.

Pros

Was hired as an intern through the co-op program at Cincinnati State and was nervous about my first experience in an office environment, but it turned out to be a pretty cool and laid-back experience. Did lots of manual website testing, data entry, and report creating -- nothing too exciting, but the kind of stuff you can do with headphones on and not be too stressed out over. My direct supervisor was incredibly kind and helpful. It was an intimate, friendly atmosphere, and at a great location where I never had to worry about parking even if I was late. I kept my head down, did what I was told, and got out after six months with some practical experience to put on my resume. Never had much contact with upper management, but what little I did have didn't leave me with any outrageously negative impressions.

Cons

I can see how certain things might have worn on me if I had been there longer, and was in a more conspicuous position. There's certainly some tension among the support engineers; and work/life balance seems to be a major issue for some, especially middle management. But for me, what I did, and what I wanted out of it -- no complaints.

Pros

You learn A LOT.

Cons

You work A LOT. On call, 3 am, 4am phone calls. Not once did management think about offering comp time for being up a couple hours in the middle of the night. Since it's salary, no OT. The people when I was there were great. Management was, not so much. The company, at the time I was there, seemed way more focus on the eCommerce side of the business, not so much on the IT side of it. Management has great ideas for team morale but they're hardly ever brought to life. Team bonding is great, since it's out of office. They focus on how much they can make and don't seem to car how hard they work you. Many days I worked 12 hour shifts, weekend work, not one comp day was ever offered.
