Pros

The company is developing truly differentiated tech that will make a real difference for our customers. We're talking about cutting literal days from the time it takes to get nurses and clinicians to the bedside, not to mention putting employees across industries on the job sooner. Best of all, this isn't some expensive premium service or add-on integration. On the culture and benefits side, pretty generous medical insurance/coverage for a startup at this size. Honestly better that several enterprise companies I've worked for. And the unlimited PTO is not lip service. Most importantly to me, I had a personal situation come up and my boss said "take the time you need." And she really meant it. I've seen the opposite, and I can't put a price on understanding management and culture.

Cons

Like the title alludes to, as hiring ebbs and flows, so too does the demand for our product. We're getting better about forecasting and sizing deals, but usage-based billing is a challenge. Yet, it's what the industry expects and demands. Leadership can be indecisive and under-communicative. I see this starting to improve, though.

Pros

There were some very smart and kind people on the team. That's about the only nice thing to say. Also, you will be worked to the bone so it's a good chance to gain new skills.

Cons

This place is a sinking ship. There were at least two rounds of layoffs in the last year, after the CEO spent months reassuring everyone that the company was fine and doing well financially. Additionally, leadership and management are able to get away with a lot, including belittling employees and blatantly picking favorites. And finally, they do not pay enough to come close to justifying any of that behavior. The environment fosters insane levels of stress for absolutely no result other than also getting to worry how you'll pay rent (that is, if you even get to keep your job). I don't want anyone else to make the mistake of working here. Please listen to the negative reviews. Those are the ones you should be listening to.
