I joined the company believing it was a stable, long-term role. Only after joining did it become clear that I was effectively hired as a substitute for an employee on maternity leave, something that was never disclosed during hiring.
After working for around 1.5 years, contributing fully as a permanent employee, I was suddenly informed that I had two months to leave. This decision ignored the fact that I had resigned from a stable previous role based on the company’s assurances.
This reflects a serious lack of transparency and ethics in hiring. Careers are not disposable resources, and this company does not appear to take responsibility for the consequences of its decisions on employees’ lives.
