Pros

Appreciated the colleagues on my immediate team. The team environment was collaborative, knowledgeable, and overall a strong place to grow skills.

Cons

Where I had concerns was with upper management and some HR practices. Leadership often lacked transparency and consistency, which affected overall trust. More importantly, the company requested and used a consumer report during an internal process without my authorization. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), employers are required to obtain written consent before pulling a consumer report. In my case, this step did not occur, which I found troubling and not aligned with best HR practices. While my team experience was positive, the lack of adherence to proper compliance standards and leadership issues left me with a negative impression.

Not much to complain about. If you’re not used to entrepreneurial, fluid environments, it will not be for you.

Pros

The team members were one of the best parts of working here. They were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help each other. Many of my coworkers genuinely cared about doing great work and creating a positive experience for customers.

Cons

Unfortunately, the work environment created by management was the complete opposite. There was a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inconsistent leadership. Managers often created unnecessary stress rather than supporting employees, and concerns raised by staff were frequently ignored. I also witnessed and experienced behavior that felt intimidating and, at times, crossed the line into harassment. Instead of addressing these issues, management often dismissed them or failed to take appropriate action. This created a toxic culture where employees felt uncomfortable speaking up and morale suffered.
