Political, a lot of red tape Doesn't consider employee's welfare highly Very clear "play it safe, protect my rice bowl" culture. Employees are not encouraged to speak up against the bosses Very slow increment and promotion Does not have a good system to recognize and groom potential employees at the entry level Does not value their lower level employees highly but treat the managers and above very well Follow the Keppel's "low basic, high bonus" mentality but since the company is not doing well, bonus has been poor and employees are generally underpaid Highly hierarchical
