Pros

Learn new skill sets and work outside of your comfort zone. Compensation is good provided you can justify it. Benefits are good.

Cons

I've seen heads roll from President to entire offices & teams let go. This usually happens at the end of March after bonuses are distributed and applies to all Operating Companies under Danaher. Regardless of how long you've been here or how well you do your job, your job is always on the line. Doing well earns you a 3% raise which equates to exceeding expectations in their annual reviews. Employee morale is in the gutter. It's a dog eat dog environment where everyone is trying to prove they're worth keeping around. This also means your manager will not develop your career because that means s/he is closer to being cut. Kavo Kerr and all Danaher companies should be viewed as short term gigs due to their frequent use of layoffs to maintain a lean operating environment. Gain skill sets, pad your resume, and look elsewhere for long-term positions. Unless there's a vital skill set you can pick up here, it's just not worth it. Overall, this is a highly traditional, corporate environment that felt like stepping back into the 90's. Some of the technology is great to add to your resume, but expect to be micromanaged and treated like a kid. The dental industry as a whole is pretty boring and slow to adapt to the internet business model.
