Pros

- Really smart, impact-driven people; the team is genuinely top tier. - Meaningful work with a mission that employees care about. - Exciting stage of growth: moving from startup to scale-up, with strong momentum ahead. - Leadership is approachable and supportive; it’s easy to get time, feedback, and guidance when you ask. - Clear opportunity to grow alongside the company and help shape what it becomes.

Cons

- Still building more consistent organizational processes and structure as the company scales. - Fast-paced environment means there’s often more work than time, so prioritization is key. - Not the best fit for someone who prefers highly established systems; many processes are still evolving. For those who enjoy building and shaping structure as the company grows (as I do), this can actually be a great opportunity.

Pros

* Devs have the chance to get real ownership. You can shape the work. * There's no shortage of interesting problems to work on. * People care about each other. Newcomers are warmly welcomed. * The product is really helping students improve their grades

Cons

I feel like this company is having a teenager moment. We are too big to act with disregard for the consequences but not big enough that we have certain processes under control.

Pros

The best part of working at Kiddom is the people. My coworkers are incredible and all care deeply about Kiddom's mission and work. The job is fast-paced and is perfect if you're skilled at wearing many different hats. There are many supports available if needed, but you're also given the autonomy to own work when applicable. There's tons of flexibility to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams, which is essential to Kiddom's mission.

Cons

As with any newer company, the processes and workflows are ever-changing. The environment is AI-rich, and as Kiddom finds its niche in the industry, many things ebb and flow. This can be challenging if you're someone who is not agile when it comes to adapting to new tech, procedures or team structures.
