Pros

I've got nothing positive to say about the company; working here has been one of my biggest regrets!

Cons

Kikoff isn't a company I would recommend working for to anyone, and that's mainly due to how toxic the work environment is! The leadership is filled with greedy, horrible people who couldn't care less about anyone other than themselves! Employees are treated like garbage and expected to meet the most ridiculous of demands while getting paid a salary that can barely afford to pay rent!

Pros

I’ve had a positive experience working at Kikoff. Initially, it was the mission that drew me in. It's motivating to be part of a company that is helping people build credit and improve their financial futures. The team is smart, collaborative, and very driven. There’s a strong culture of ownership, where people are trusted to take initiative and move quickly, which makes it a great environment for growth. Leadership is transparent and focused on results, while still being thoughtful about long term strategy. I also appreciate how data driven the company is. There's a strong emphasis on testing and learning. It’s a fast paced environment, but that comes with a lot of opportunity to make a tangible impact. Overall, Kikoff is a great place for anyone who wants to work on meaningful problems, grow quickly, and be surrounded by talented, motivated people.

Cons

As with many fast growing startups, there can be some growing pains as processes and systems are still evolving, which can occasionally lead to ambiguity or shifting priorities.

Pros

Good location for the San Francisco office.

Cons

Working here is incredibly exhausting because everything feels chaotic and reactive. Senior management constantly changes their minds and pivots the strategy, so you end up working hard on a project only for it to be scrapped a week later. There is an extreme amount of micromanagement, and deadlines are just handed down from the top without any real input from the people actually doing the work. This has led to massive burnout and people are leaving constantly. On top of that, the internal tools and processes are totally broken and disorganized, making even simple tasks take twice as long. There’s also no clear path for promotions or career growth, and leadership doesn't really seem open to hearing constructive feedback or changing how things are run.
