Pros

Well organised - HR book your training in so you don't have to do anything - remuneration reviews and tough appraisals so something to try and achieve. Competitive salaries.

Cons

Extremely boring place to work - stereotypical accountancy firm - everyone is pretty anti-social. If you are a trainee - you are expected to kill yourself with work - no-one really talks. If you fail an exam twice you will be fired straight away. Managers are judgemental and if they take a dislike to you - will make your life a misery instead of trying to support you. If you are a typical number cruncher with no personality - you will enjoy working here.

Pros

Good training package and support Competitive salary Friendly team

Cons

Old fashioned Very resistant to change Board don't listen to staff despite 'encouraging' ideas Career progression past qualification is unclear and there's a lack of support. Good luck getting promoted unless it benefits them Constantly reactive and behind the curve Overtime is expected and workload is excessive Unachievable targets High staff turnover
