Joseph Kirkpatrick is the antithesis of a leader. Everything is for his glory and even when he makes a blatant error, it’s everyone else’s fault. Sociopathic in his willingness to bend reality to match his delusions, Joseph is happy to sacrifice anyone who disagrees with him. This has led to Joseph being unable to see why his archaic audit firm is getting run out of business by the firms that embrace technology and innovation. A couple of weeks ago Joseph cried in front of the entire company because he received feedback that he has an anger problem. Instead of looking at this introspectively, Joseph lashed out in front of the whole company and blamed the criticism for his behavior. If Michael Scott was more mean spirited in his delusions of grandeur, he would be a perfect replica of Joseph’s character. If you are considering this company to work for, you’ve been warned.
