Pros
I've worked at Kitchen CUT for over two years now and can honestly say I love coming to work every day. The company has gone through a period of rapid growth, from just 4 office based members of staff when I started to over 20 now. It's been challenging and exciting and we're now at a point where we have a great team of people who fit the company ethos perfectly! As a start up company, it's important to have 'an all hands on deck' attitude! The potential for personal development and growth has been great with Kitchen CUT. My job role has expanded massively and I've been given the opportunity to attend training courses to develop my skill sets. Socially, the team are great fun. There's a fun vibe in the office and we all let our hair down socially too.
Cons
A small and growing company isn’t for everyone - processes and procedures are always being developed so it’s important to know that it’s not like walking in to a corporate environment where everything is in place and established. For me, that's been a positive, because you can contribute to how things are shaped, but there are some people that just won't thrive without the comfort of the 'corporate factor'.
