      Pros

      You will learn a lot about your tolerance for pain.

      Cons

      Comes down to this: in my opinion, the husband and wife in charge want to make a lot of money. Your personal and professional development will suffer. If you are just starting your career and don't know any better, please do not see this as an appealing challenge. This should not be dismissed as a bitter review from a previous employee. I am attempting to save any future hires (if the company doesn't close its doors very, very soon... that's the impression I got from their recent SEC filing. Google it.) from a lot of trouble. Knightscope is THAT bad.

      Startups unfortunately come with a lot of pain and suffering from almost every angle. Thank you for putting in the effort to help move the ball forward during your time here - we know it is not and has not been easy. And part of being a semi-public company is, yes, we have a significant amount of public disclosure which is significantly different than most startups which are opaque. The startup struggle is real and you got to see and feel it first hand - and sometimes the motivations are clear to some and may be different for others. There are moments of 'good periods' for startups and there are the much more difficult ones. But I do genuinely hope you learned something through the experience. Again, thank you for your contribution and the best of luck to you in your career.

      Pros

      If you work hard, keep your head up, and take care of business, Knightscope will recognize and reward you accordingly. There is plenty of opportunity for growth here, and even more opportunity to learn. The company maintains the energy and cross-functionality of a startup by encouraging innovation and collaboration, while also following processes and standards that you would expect from a larger corporation. Personally, I credit this company with getting me to where I am today, and I will always feel gratitude for the opportunities it has provided.

      Cons

      Knightscope doesn’t tolerate slacking off or toxic, narrow-minded attitudes. Can be very ambitious at times.

      Pros

      The company has a good position as the market leader in Autonomous Security Robots.

      Cons

      Staff turnover largely negates market advantages as institutional knowledge is drained away.
