Pros
-As of NOV 2014 differential pay schools (33 specified counties) have increased sub pay from $68/day to $94/day T-TH and $125/day M and F -Good days can be easy (only three high school block classes and one plan period which means only 5hrs of work) -Flexible work schedule -Can cancel last minute -Interesting to see all different schools -Variety -If you want to get plugged into a school, subbing is an excellent way to get your foot in the door -Paid more than full time TA's -Rewarding work
Cons
-No benefits -Only allowed to work 15 days/ month -Bad days can mean dealing with wild and disrespectful students, can be high stress... Many students come from rough home lives and this is reflected in their attitude and behavior
