Pros

Plenty of work hours, all the overtime you will ever want. Paid time off honored well. Some travel which can be seen as a real Benefit. There was a pension when I was employed there. Safety is held to a higher standard than most work cultures.

Cons

Too much of a work load from micromanaging leaves little time for personal life. No room for moving up, even when you’ve met the micromanaged tasks. Employees are very disrespectful and will step on you to get ahead. No pay scale, high turn over. Poorly managed environment creates a lot of these issues. No clear direction from leadership except to micromanage everything until everyone is busy doing tasks. Busyness is confused with real progress.

Pros

Good insurance. The Atlanta office was more flexible with remote/hybrid work

Cons

The politics. People devalue teammates. Constantly changing direction so no meaningful impact can be made. Not a lot of diversity. If you don’t ask how someone’s kids are, you get complaints that you’re cold and difficult. Got there and a reorg killed the reason I was hired and was never provided with any sort of hope of growth opportunities.
