Pros

Good internal employees who bond over their stockholm syndrome.

Cons

High stress. As a former employee knowing the practices, I would never allow this company to work on my home. CEO is dishonest and lacks integrity. There is internal fratinization and nepotism. You could be fired or suspended at any time for no reason. CEO brags about how many people he suspends. There has been 6 HR managers in less than 4 years. High turn over rate. Unhappy employees and customers. Lack of a streamlined process. CEO is always looking to cut corners and get over on customers and employees. Poor compensation and benefits package. Company lacks direction or quality leadership outside of the sales team. Employees are incredibly unhappy and mistreated. Every week there are meetings where nothing gets accomplished except the CEO getting to hear himself talk. You will get discriminated and retaliated against if you oppose anything the CEO says or do not follow his instructions. You will be asked to do unethical and dangerous things you may not comfortable with and if you refuse you will either get demoted or terminated. You will get blamed when things go wrong. You will not be appreciated when you do a good job.

Pros

- High growth with dynamic work environment - Laying the "groundwork" for your department and standards - It was rare to be unproductive for a second - Bootcamp of sorts for high pace working - Network and meet a lot of folks with various backgrounds

Cons

- Markets shifted which indirectly impacted working conditions - Unbalanced and unpredictable workload - Focus time on tasks limited was due to fast changing requirements - Stress levels were typically high due to leadership management style
