None that I can think of. It's part-time/contract work. So you would need additional employment elsewhere.

-EIC encouraged everyone to contribute, no matter how big or small their role. -Editors gave a ton of room for creativity and left writers with free reign -LA Weekly gets great recognition not only locally but from many others around the country as well -People from all different departments are not only extremely talented, they're all willing to give advice and spend time talking to even junior writers

-Editors are naturally quite busy and have some tough deadlines, which don't always leave them time to comb through their writer's pieces -In trying to get page views, some types of articles get repeated due to their popularity
