Good Hours Free Parking Location off the highway Interesting industry Decent pay I had a great relationship with many employees at the company, and overall the environment can be great. The majority of people who are not in management have great respect for each other, and it’s extremely important when you’re working daily with people to enjoy working with them. The work I was doing was extremely enjoyable, and working with the community was rewarding in itself.

Lack of growth (depends on department) Employee appreciation Management differences Micro management Not updated office (computers, programs, etc.) The employee vs management appreciation is very evident. The company is owned by two brothers, and there are many people who work at the company who have known the brothers/are family. If you are close or have the connection with the family, your role is going to be very different compared to someone who is on the outside. I was at the company for over a year, and it was evident there was a divide among employees. Managers also are very involved in projects (good to care) but there was extreme micromanagement. It was difficult to work on projects, there was a lot of waiting because every manager wanted to add their opinion. The lack of growth was evident, as this is a start up still going through growing pains. There were not updated programs and software as needed for the role I was in. Overall, my experience was neutral. There were great pros, but some very heavy cons to the company. Either way, everyone will have a different experience based on your connection to the bosses, your department, and your hired level. This is a start up, and that contributes quite a bit to the experience you could have.
