Depending on the group you are in, experience would be different.

If you're lucky, you can work on some architecturally impressive projects. small firm so you can quickly work on a lot of different tasks. some of your peers will be technically thoughtful.

disorganized processes, chaotic at times. no training. no mentorship. performance reviews are a joke. leadership is a mess of partners who aren't on the same page. WMBE is a performative lie. low pay. no profit share. pathetic bonus. no incentive to do a good job because there is no reward. partnership is not responsive to ideas or change. some PMs are abusive and there is no recourse. on a technical level other firms are doing more research or innovative designs. finances of firm are opaque and secretive depending on partner, you're either bored and under utilized or extremely over worked. No growth for an engineer after ~3-5 years
