Pros

Mostly fair work-life balance, compensation and annual leave were average to the market.

Cons

The company was on a great path up to and even during the Covid era. A series of decisions made by higher mgmt ended up in the group turning into a "soulless corporate", just without the budget to back it up - so we've had no salary updates nor social events for a good few years, great tools /systems/platforms that made us deliver better results quicker - were taken away just to show savings. In a nutshell - a trend of bad business decisions took a toll on the tech stack, and later on - on the head-count.

Pros

Most positions are able to work remotely. Some business units (BUs) require their employees to be in office at least on a hybrid basis. There are some really good people within some of the business units.

Cons

The leadership and central services of the organization are a mess. The company/most business units (PeopleFluent, Rustici, Breezy, OpenLMS) are making no money and having layoffs and reductions in force constantly, about 4 in the past 6 months. There has been no change since being bought by General Atlanticc, except for layoffs on the GP Strategies side. Aside from being able to work remotely, and the standard health/dental benefits, there are no real benefits or perks for employees. Policies and procedures are different for each business unit and there is no standard company wide. You may have flexible/"unlimited" vacation, and your colleague could only receive PTO on an accrual basis. Employees are constantly in fear of when they will be let go and most just waiting for their time to come.
