• the product vision - it was promising and it was genuinely helping to improve the life of scientists, besides contributing to a paperless, sustainable journey • The work environment while being there was great - many nationalities and disciplines combined to build a very meaningful product, while everyone was treated respectfully • Nicely organised team events and TGIFs
Cons
- The growth of the company in terms of hiring got out of hand: -- many inexperienced people from the team were made managers, and that eventually had obvious consequences -- the hiring bar was very low for some departments sometimes - impossible to lift up a product when experienced hands were very much needed -- the hiring of a marketing team with a completely nontransparent strategy that burned thousands of euros but got back no results
