Pros

* Paid well * 6 weeks' leave is amazing (4 weeks annual plus 12 days agreed leave, which is 6.5 weeks) * Very nice people and great culture while John Brogden was there. Not sure about new CEO. * WFH 2-3 days a week * Seemed like development people enjoyed their jobs more than the corporate teams (pro or con depending on where you fall)

Cons

* WFH rules not enforced so some people come in once a week and some have to come in three days a week even when we're all supposedly meant to be there at least twice a week. This inequity leads to resentment. * Claim they are an affordable housing organisation but then you find it that it's only 5-10% of new developments that are 'affordable'. So like, a few dozen houses LOL. * Lots of talk and little action. All about policy and planning but where's the proof? * Not much opportunity to move from corporate to development. * Procurement suuuuuucks. At least 50% of my role was spent on trying to buy goods and services. At least 5 signatures required for something small and if you need a contract you're looking at 7+ signatures and multiple forms. Procurement says they're improving but since I was there they only made it significantly worse. Major time suck and emotionally draining. * Not impressed with their approach to bullying. Was forced to go into a mediation with the bully and cried all the way through it while the HR person who'd been there all of 2 weeks asked me what I had done wrong. Disgraceful.

Pros

Good people, good Project pipeline

Cons

Location of head office, extremely risk adverse, layers of systems and processes make it clunky and slow
