Pros

- easy amount of work assigned - fully remote - decent pay

Cons

- I found 100% of the technical leadership to be demeaning, demoralizing, and degrading toward all the engineers. - managers are often competing with their direct reports, rather than empowering them. - no technical vision whatsoever. - antiquated tech stack. - "no blame or shame" is only applied to leadership, which translates to zero accountability and nothing ever improving. - "Disagree and Commit" is the company motto - as stated in their job postings. What that translated to in practice is "take your experience and bury it in the ground". - Layoffs are annual because there is no vision to improve the product. I personally quit without even having another job lined up, that's how bad the leadership is here. I found a staff position in 2 weeks. I understand needing to pop in here for a paycheck if you were laid off, but once you see the state of things, don't think it was the prior engineers and that you can fix it - they literally wont let you improve anything and the debt your seeing is due to incompetent leadership at every level. This is a place to sink your career, not grow it.

Pros

Innovative product, compassionate & one-team culture, diverse and inclusive team

Cons

Healthcare industry is a slow-moving industry. Company growth has been slowed by the healthcare industry cycle. But for any deeply meaningful work, it's worth the wait.

Pros

- Remote work is nice. - Most of my co-workers are brilliant

Cons

- tech debt is out of control - no clear direction. I don’t trust the CEO and CTO’s judgement - layoffs upon layoffs - sinking ship
