Worked very hard, little training - Engineer LaserLife Employee Review

Great location. It is tucked away but once you are familiar with it there is a lot going on in the local area and it is next to London Bridge and its attractions. Also there are lovely people there and an attractive salary with an interesting commission.

My manager seemed like a nice guy but not so helpful. Everything seems good in the first week but in practice not so much. He would have one2ones with all of us but despite being there so long couldn't advise where I might be going wrong or offer tips, just saying that I need to work it out for myself. By the end of the first full month I got 3 orders for printer service cleans but 2 were resellers and a 3rd was going to cost more. But rather than requote I was sacked as I didn't hit the target of getting a customer in the first full month of working. He also used to complain about how hard it was to recruit people but he didn't help the people he took on, so he was churning through people too fast! And yes hard to get roots in company. It promises a lot on earnings but you may be out before you realise it giving you a blackmark on your CV and the job search disability of being labelled as "a job hopper".

- Huge earning potential, achievable and realistic commission scheme and targets. - Very fair and reasonable management in the Halifax office where I worked. Really supportive in personal development and isn’t breathing down your neck. The complete opposite of feeling like you’re working in a sweat shop. - Excellent company reputation in their industry and dependable sales support staff to aid the account managers. - Flexible with use of annual leave for holidays.

- Occasional IT issues but there really isn’t much that comes to mind for Cons.
