Pros

Training is helpful Everyone has a positive attitude

Cons

I was the first intern to start that spring and finished in July. I saw over two dozen people (interns and full time workers) quit because the job was awful. They tell you it's a marketing or public relations job but it's a sales job. You go door to door trying to sell Pirate tickets. Seems fun at first but it's very boring and becomes boring. Not always an easy sale which can make the days awful. You have to drive into Pittsburgh only to drive an hour away to walk around small towns. Would not recommend this job.

Pros

Awesome work environment!! I started at Launch Local last year and it was a great opportunity for me to actually gain experience in sales/leadership for my resume. I hadn't had a job out of college just yet so it was perfect for me to get my "foot-in-the-door". I originally answered their ad for a "Sales & Marketing Assistant". After my first interview I wasn't sure if it was going to be the right fit, but their second round interviews are more so job shadows so that was nice. Other interviews I had gone on didn't offer that so once I started, I had no idea really what I was getting into and I ended up leaving those jobs within a week. After my second interview with Launch, I knew I could definitely be a great asset to the team and bring new ideas to campaigns. Everyone was welcoming which made my experience with Launch even better because I didn't hate my work place for once in my life. Overall, it was a great experience for me and I honestly wouldn't have left if I didn't move out of state.

Cons

There are some long days I'll admit.....although, I was seeking advancement into management, so I knew that going into the position.
