Pros
I originally applied at a job posting from Launch Local in early 2017 because the "Sports Marketing & PR" description caught my eye. I had just exited working as a Product Manager for 10 years for a Corporate Manufacturing Company because I couldn't deal with the demands and expectations on a daily / hourly basis. I was tired of working "for the man" and realized I could only get so far in Corporate America and my best would never be enough. Once I joined Launch Local I realized they are more than just sports marketing... Launch Local is not a job... it's an opportunity for someone to become whatever it is they want to be. We grow up as kids dreaming of becoming President, Astronauts, Owning our businesses and society along the way shifts our way of thinking into what is realistic vs. not. Launch Local is a place where they grow and develop people to become whatever they desire and do whatever it is they want in life. Granted it's not something that is freely given to you. You've got to want it, work for it, and if you do your part then Launch will do everything they can to make sure your Entrepreneurial dreams become reality. I've learned I never have to "work" for anyone but myself ever again. I realized I can become a coach and mentor to anyone who wants what I want (to be successful and self-made business owners). I've never seen a business model like what Launch provides before in my life. It doesn't matter if you have a PhD or a High School diploma, if you're hungry and want the most out of life this is your path and opportunity to achieve that. I like to think of Launch Local as a "tight knit family", working to help each other achieve each others' goals. I've never met in all my life a more genuine and caring group of people than I have in the past 6 months. The question comes down to this... What do you want in life? For yourself and for your family? If the answer is, you want more than what you currently are experiencing then give us a shot... Last time I checked, I've never felt setback by trying something new that's structured to better my life. -Sean
Cons
The only "cons" I can say about Launch is that at end of my "work day", yes I'm tired, but it's not stress that's tiring me... it's because my face hurts from smiling, stomach hurts from laughing, and feet hurt from walking (because I don't sit at a desk for 8 hours a day - I provide my local communities with family/fun entertainment by visiting hundreds of people a day face to face... yes not on facebook, not by texting, but face to face)
