Cons
At first you will think wow! I'm so lucky to have gotten this job! It seems so cool! But the red flags are there from the beginning. You'll notice that no one has been working there for longer than a year- including the store managers. Morale is not even in the vocabulary of this company's culture. They will leave you hanging out on a string for long periods of time. Unanswered emails are the norm. But as soon as they need something, it is always urgent in the extreme- better drop your whole day for them at any moment. The company is severely understaffed. There is no clear structure making it difficult to know who to contact for support. When they do take the time to speak with you, they won't actually speak with you. They will speak AT you and/or over you. Don't expect them to ever ask for anyone's input on the ground because they think they know best. This is the farthest thing from the truth as even the most basic business sense is lacking and that is putting it lightly. Payroll is an absolute mess. Do not expect any sort of proper raise ever. In fact, they will pile work on you as you make less and less- stripping you of benefits along the way. There is a lack of training yet as soon as a mistake is made (which is bound to happen), you will be on the receiving end of unparalleled abuse. Once top management feels comfortable enough, they will bully you mercilessly until you burn out and leave a shell of your former self.
