I was working part time, supposedly for 20 hours a week. After one month, I had only had 20 hours of work total. Most of my time was spent waiting in front of my computer, not getting any projects to work on, and watching money roll down the drain. There was no incentive to stay and wait, beyond the threats of strikes and the possibility of being fired. Not that it would have made much difference anyway, since I wasn't earning any money either way.
