Pros

I had autonomy and the ability to do work with great people without being micromanaged. I felt like my opinion was highly valued and that people were open to new ideas. The culture was close and the people I met were some of the best I have ever worked with.

Cons

We had a niche product and felt like we had to sell the company in order to compete. The leadership was good in most areas but you could run into challenging people in others.

Pros

There was a lot of flexibility with Learn.com. I was given many opportunities to make a difference and achieve successes. I loved the leadership team. They were all very passionate and smart. No one micro managed you.

Cons

They sold the company to Taleo. That was a big mistake. The only ones that made out on that one were the shareholders.

Pros

Product - One of the top three LMSs in the corporate eLearning space Marketing - Great , well-oiled machine, in fact, a little too good People - Make the company what it is, especially some relatively recent additions to Finance and Product Marketing Future Stock Options - Recent development for existing employees. Though management needed to do something to appease folks as the job market slowly improves

Cons

Pay - Bad for most...as many are just making enough to pay bills, if that. Some people there have second jobs/businesses on the side. Lack of training/process efficiency - Company definately doesn't "eat their own caviar." If one doesn't make friends and allies at this place, they will sink. Executive Leadership - certain ones are 'spastic' while others won't even acknowledge the presense of employees who bust their butts for the place and them. Their extreme cheapness also gives the impression that there is a cash flow issue. Morale - Windowless, cave-like HQ facility (used to belong to Diamonds.com) complete with the smell of mold (well, South Florida!). No company-wide events, parties, teambuilding whatsover. Turnover........
