As a first-time intern in a design space, the team was very welcoming and collaborative. The small team made it feel more intimate, and I was welcome to any hang outs the team had.

Nothing of note for me. I worked on a project with a relatively small scope during my time as an intern, and though that was not a con for me, could be notable for those looking for bigger-picture work.

Awesome, fun, talented, intelligent, conscientious people. Lots of laughter.

There were growing pains when I was there. We were transitioning to a new org structure based on an adaptation of holacracy. Work life balance was at times tough to get the hang of. This is a non-profit after all, and there are often a lot of things going on at once.
