Pros

An exercise in resilience. If you want to develop a thicker skin without enlisting in the foreign legion, this might be for you. If you ever wanted to see how far you can be pushed before you crack, give this place a try. An absolute masochists' dream job. the constant depreciation and abuse will be beyond your wildest fantasy.

Cons

The worst possible attempt at delivering a service I have ever been a part of. Any attempt at providing an efficiency at any level will be immediately shut down. This shut down will likely happen in front of other people by the Managing Director in an attempt to satisfy his own insecurities and complexes. The Managing Director is heavily involved in many morally and ethically questionable activities that have no part in a social or business context. Hands down the worst "leader" I have ever encountered. He has no respect from his staff either personally or professionally. Management actively implement quality and process improvements while implicitly instructing staff not to let the MD know for fear of him flying into a rage and ripping them apart because they weren't his idea. Nobody is allowed a good idea, and if they do have one it will be shut down and "re-branded" as an innovation by the MD a few weeks or months later. He will then publicly pat himself on his back in one of his ridiculous all staff speech's about his genius idea.

Pros

Good place to work overall. The past year has brought a lot of positive change, and with some underperforming staff leaving, the office is now a much nicer environment day to day. There’s a clear expectation to do your job properly , if your work isn’t finished, you’re expected to take ownership and complete it. Support from the Ops Director and HR is strong. I don’t agree with comments about low pay. You might start lower, but pay increases are given regularly based on performance without needing to ask.

Cons

Standard day to day gossip within teams and people
