Pros

The owner of Legal Intake Pros is the busiest person I know, yet she always takes the time to invest in each team member. She doesn’t just want you to do a good job; she wants you to grow and excel. I’ve never worked with such a powerhouse team of women, and this is hands down the best job I’ve ever had. Working here has inspired me to seek additional tools and resources for continued growth and learning, something I never thought to do before. The salary is very competitive, and the benefits package is amazing. I hope I never have to job hunt again.

Cons

If you are not resilient and don’t enjoy being challenged every day, this might not be the job for you. The environment is fast-paced and demands continuous learning and adaptation.

Pros

Collaborative Remote Rewarding Niche Great work culture Clear path for growth Leadership support

Cons

You need to be resilient - not a con for me, but may be for others. This is a start-up. Things are constantly changing, and that's the reality of working somewhere new. Another con, the people you have to coach did not decide to participate in the program/ they were forced. You are met with resistance from some of them because of this.

Pros

Passionate team doing really great things! The CEO, Yani Smith, is inspiring and invested in everyone's growth. She cares about her team, personally and professionally. She's very hands-on with those who need support, and everyone is committed to taking advantage of her mentorship while the team is still small.

Cons

Working remotely can be hard if you aren't disciplined and if you need in-person engagement. We have a few client Zoom meetings daily, so I don't mind it. We also get virtual team bonding activities, and the CEO is planning for employee retreats. If you are not efficient, a con could be the fast pace of the job, which is expected for a start-up in software technology and talent development. However, the team and CEO are always ready to jump in and offer support. The training is pretty immersive and hands-on, but if you've already been trained, you're expected to first seek the knowledge base resources or make an effort to find the answer before finding help. This company requires you to be a self-starter and to stay up-to-date with industry skills and knowledge. Everyone is expected to pull their weight, so there's no room for complacency.
