Pros

It's a small company with diverse products and customers. Travel opportunities abound worldwide. Nice people who are enjoyable to be around.

Cons

The two families that own the company have perfected the art of nepotism in the upper ranks cutting short the potential for the company as a whole. Ridiculous expensing rules forcing use of personal credit cards and slow repayment. Micromanaging prevents employees from contributing fully. Nice people, not fun to work with.

Pros

Small, tight-knit company that works to make sure all employees are happy in their positions. Management supports employees that want to grow in their positions, acquire new skills, and advance their position in the company. All teams work together to achieve company goals.

Cons

Large learning curve for those not familiar with the paper industry. Being a small company means that some employees are a part of multiple teams, making the work day a little hectic.

Pros

* Opportunities for long-term career growth (e.g., starting in the warehouse and advancing to upper management). Supportive, close-knit team environment with mutual respect among employees. * Thoughtful leadership that genuinely cares about employees at all levels. * Large decisions are made with employees’ well-being in mind, regardless of position. * Engaging team-building activities and group events that foster camaraderie. * A rewarding work culture that values collaboration and contribution across departments.

Cons

* The close-knit nature of the team may require adapting to a high level of collaboration, which might not suit everyone. * Decision-making processes, while employee-focused, may sometimes take longer due to thorough consideration of all impacts. * The dynamic nature of the company may require employees to wear multiple hats, which could be challenging for those who prefer a narrower focus.
