Complete lack of leadership and guidance from upper management. Creatively uninspiring and intellectually uncurious leading to beaten down, drained employees. Will routinely refer to employees' work as expletives, leading to nihilistic, lackluster work all around. "Turning chicken ____ into chicken salad," is not an inspiring ethos. Toxic office culture leading to backstabbing and cliques, not ideal in a collaborative field like television. Very low pay, under industry standard. Upper level management will routinely come in late, leave early, and spend company funds on personal expenses and trips, then lean hard on staff level employees to stay late in a time crunch. Does not inspire loyalty. Tough to move up. If positions open, they like to keep people where they are and hire from outside.
