      Pros

      Lessonpal has a great support team and a user friendly platform. The lessons are easy to manage and reschedule. Moreover, you don't need to pay to send tutoring offers to students. Lastly, unlike other tutoring platforms, their service fee is only 10%.

      Cons

      The only con for me is that the platform only supports PayPal as a payment option. It'd be better if other payment options for tutors were available.

      Pros

      It's generally not hard to find people to tutor (especially during the school year), and the quality of students is generally pretty high. You do have to reply to a lot of ads, but if you do that you will find people. Lessonpal handles all of the payment stuff so I don't have to worry about that.

      Cons

      You do have to pay your own self-employment taxes since Lessonpal isn't an employer and so doesn't send you a W-2 form.

      Everyone undercuts their rates, so hard to get payed well.
