Pros

Sticking it out for a couple of months will automatically make you the most senior person at the company because turnover rate is so high.

Cons

Boss is unreasonable, talks down to you, basically bullies everyone and makes people cry regularly. Once the boss told me that I absolutely could not work any overtime (even if for free) and that I was required to leave work promptly on the dot, and when I tried to leave on time as instructed they lectured me for being a bad team player.

Pros

Working as a proofreader at LexiMed has been a truly rewarding experience. The environment is incredibly supportive, with managers and colleagues who genuinely encourage you to perform at your best. Beyond just professional skills, the company fosters growth in all aspects of your personality, helping you build confidence, sharpen communication, and develop both personally and professionally. It’s motivating to be part of a team where your contributions are valued and where you’re continually encouraged to evolve.

Cons

There is lots of information to take in during training at the beginning - but it is definitely worth it as once you get the hang of it the work is very interesting and rewarding, especially if you have a mixed passion for science and medicine and writing or law.

Pros

Very interesting and varied work. The specialists are all fantastic and everyone in the office has a great working relationship with them. There are well developed processes and procedures in place so you always know how things should be done and why they are done in a certain way. Great team environment working closely with everyone in the office. Plenty of opportunities for ongoing training, development and progression.

Cons

Given the work we do, having high standards and excellent attention to detail is very important and therefore will not be suited to someone who lacks this.
