Job scope advertised during the interview was vastly different from what I was required to do. The original job scope was instead transferred to an existing staff. This was not communicated prior. Hired for finance role but was made to do "digitization"; to streamline finance process and automate manual and heavy excels. This is in fact a job which requires in-depth IT knowledge. Also, the middle finance management does not know how to lead a team, has very poor communication and unclear expectations. Does not tell you what management expectations are but you are required to know in different situations. There were many instances of miscommunication and management does not know how to handle situations with his associates. Office culture is also really cold, just work quietly and go home. Not much interactions between people. Office has small cliques within, very strong office politics. Inflexible to any ideas.
