Pros
They do supply you with basic PPE. But if you require big sizes you must have your own till they can order it or do without. They do work 4 ten hour days with a occasional Friday. So that leaves you a 3 day weekend most weeks. I never did have a pre employment drug test.
Cons
They lie to your face. They expect you to have everything memorized and all your welds to there quality within 2 days or less. You are not given time to familiarize yourself with there equipment or there techniques. They have no training and just throw you out there. I did my weld test and passed. I was hired on then 2 days after I began I was told my welds where not good enough and I was to slow even thow I still was putting out the quota. I was let go and told to call about a different position and completely ghosted because I was told I was over qualified for any of there positions according to the weld boss.
