      Pros

      Ability to choose clients and decline clients based on your interests/ desires.

      Cons

      Toxic management/ owner. Long hours and little pay. Salary-based, so you don't get the compensation directly from your own clients. Micromanagement with questionable business practices. Lack of experience with diverse mental health conditions.

      I am thankful for the support, mentorship, and learning opportunities that contributed significantly to my professional development at Life Insight over the last 8 years. I wouldn’t be where I am without the owner, in particular.

      Overall, my experience was very positive, and I built great relationships with those at Life Insight. I have no notable concerns to report.

      Ability to conduct rich clinical work, as well as a collaborative, supportive team of talented clinicians. Opportunities for learning and consultation.

      Cons

      Being a therapist and managing burn out can be difficult.
