- There are some great people who work at LightBox that can sometimes make the cons bearable.
Cons
- Poor employee retention and turnover make it really hard to get things done - there are a lot of people jumping ship from LightBox because of terrible leadership, unequal pay, poor communication, lack of respect, and much much more. - LightBox seems more concerned with making money than treating employees fairly. It's fostered an extremely toxic work environment where it's near impossible to thrive in your career because of all the infighting. - Untrustworthy communication. There is a sense that communication coming from leadership is not the whole truth. - Constant lack of clarity around projects, priorities, and responsibilities - The CEO is extremely unmotivating making it really hard for employees to do quality work for him or for LightBox. He has shown a pattern of disrespect toward employees creating a distressing workplace.
