Clueless management and failing business - Employee LineStream Technologies Employee Review

Linestream is trying to do something that's both incredibly rewarding and incredibly challenging. For people who really want to join a growing company and be a part of helping that trajectory, Linestream is perfect. Also, the President is an incredible leader who helps employees grow and develop - he's far and away the best reason to work at Linestream.

Linestream is a startup. That involves some risk and requires that employees are flexible. It may not be the right place for people who value the stability and predictability of larger companies.

First and foremost, I enjoyed and appreciated the company culture. I worked with Linestream off and on for two years, and from my first day of work, I felt like I could approach anyone on the team and that my input had merit. I was also immediately impressed by the intelligence and work ethic of everyone on the team, from management on down. While long hours were the norm , I felt I had the freedom to work whenever suited me, so long as I completed my tasks in manner which lived to company standards. However what I appreciate most out of my time at Linestream was that management went out of their way to ensure I was also benefitting from my time as an employee. Having held other jobs since, I frequently reminisce about my time working for Linestream, and hope to find myself with employers who similarly value me in the future. All in all, my experience with Dave and the Linestream team was an excellent one. I am indebted to both management and the other engineers for mentoring me throughout my employment (and afterwards), and my time with the company and has left me with a strong desire to work in a similar environment in my future.
