On my first day I saw two of the managers get into a yelling argument over the phone (despite the fact that their offices were right next to each other and they had their doors open), and one of them slam the phone on the other. Another time, they used a messenger to send verbal messages back and forth about how they're not going to do business together and that there was no conclusion to be made between their two departments. Ground level employees were afraid to say anything. New ideas on how to improve productivity were rejected and discouraged. The majority of the company's employees have been there over a decade.
