Amazing Culture & Work Environment
Anonymous EmployeeCurrent Employee, less than 1 yearPros
Lionrock Recovery is filled with amazing people who are committed to excellence in all areas. They have a strong team environment where even top level managers and directors aren't afraid to get in the trenches and do some hard work. Feeling connected in a remote work environment and work life balance are both important to them. I would definitely recommend Lionrock Recovery!
Cons
The fact that employees are located in various time zones occasionally makes it difficult to coordinate meeting times. That being said, they are always considerate.

Pros
Wonderful teams! The overall focus on our clients well-being is strong. I am not over-worked and have great balance in life. The pay is decent. I really Like what I do! I live for doing groups so LR is the ideal platform for me.
Cons
Our PTO is really bad with very few paid holidays. It's a very tough job working with SUD and time off helps so much. Lack of a confidential HR line. Lack of policies...for example, it's unclear as to what happens when other clinicians are habitually calling in, not showing up for on-call, etc. LR is very forgiving, which feels amazing, and it means we absolutely have people who take advantage while the rest of us old faithfuls don't recieve a merit-based raise=/ Generally, LR does not give raises/merit increases. People work harder for raises so why not? Admissions being commissioned can create a few hiccups between departments. The drive to excel is strong and it can seem a little overwhelming and pushy at times and sort of incongruent with LRs emphasis on quality care for clients due to caring for clinicians. Perhaps a little more praise for clinical in our company meetings. Lift us up as we keep people coming back =)
