Pros

Lots of projects available. Support team is good. Responds quickly

Cons

Not sure if the entire grading process is deliberately put in to dupe writers for almost 50% of their earnings by consistently marking them and fining them for impeccable work done, or it is just that their team of graders are the most ridiculous nutcases out there. They'll fine you and grade you C's and F's at any chance they get- mostly on tasks that you take up that are more than $45. That way, you spend nearly half of your day working on it and end up getting a 100% fine and they take the whole $45 for absolutely NO practical reason. Infact they'll also keep grading you Fs for not having an intro and conclusion for a paper, despite the client CLEARLY mentioning that he does NOT want an intro and conclusion. That's just one example- there are tons of others and they'll NEVER agree to their mistake and be adamant and dupe you right in your face!!!

Dear Writer, Thank you for sharing your experience and feelings in regard to pros and cons in Livingston Research! We are sorry to hear that some of our working procedures made you think of yourself as a dupe! I would highly appreciate your sending me an email to recruiting@liv-research.com with your query, so I could check your account and received grades, especially the order you referred to in your message! The purpose of grading is to highlight your mistakes so you do not repeat them in the future. As a result, your writing style gradually gets better and better. The reason why the fines are applied for getting D or F is the fact that 94% of such orders sooner or later gets fully or partially refunded. Speaking about $45 order, most probably it was a 5+ page project. Usually, all types of work require following the basic structure with minor discrepancies. I hope you would agree that it would be weird not to have any conclusions after such a research. Our current graders used to work either as our full-time or freelance writers for more than 2-3 years! They know how it feels like to get a poor grade as they went through this just the way you did but still managed to become top performers. I am looking forward to getting your email in order to look into the case closer! Take care, Ruslan

Pros

A great company to which I've been dedicating all my efforts for the past 3 years. What I do appreciate and really want to highlight for all the others - is the company culture and the amount of opportunities for one's professional growth. A lot of career opportunities are introduced here, and also, there are lots of events organized by the company that help to grow and feel part of the team. Being a part of this team is truly adorable, I do feel encouraged and inspired to become better version of myself, and can't think of any other company but COMPANY to do so. One more big advantage in this company is that you can manage your schedule on your own, and that makes a perfect work/life balance.

Cons

Unfortunately, this field is required and I can't simply ignore it. Personally, I'm not seeing any problems/shortcomings that are worth mentioning here. Though, one has to be aware, that it is possible to encounter a low season here, when the amount of work slightly drops which means the salary is a bit lower.

Pros

Pay used to be good Customer Support used to be great

Cons

Since mid 2021 I think management changed. They instituted poor policies: >Shortened time to review orders >CPP drastically reduced >Ridiculous verification for long time users >Arbitrary enforcement of account shutdown >Shut down skype customer support- which used to be fast and efficient
